Apparently Vitsœ shelving system has been around since the 60′s but I sure haven’t heard of them. Just stumbled to their site and the front-page video is just great, watch it! I’d like to have some of their shelves in my apartment but the price tag is a tad hefty for a poor student like myself.

Gotta love it!

Just got a mail that someone added me on twitter, so I looked at his profile wich had a link to his portfolio. Amazing work was I found, just loving Lauris simple and minimal and yet colorful illustrations. Seriously want the one with the recordplayer hanging on my wall! Check out his work!

So much white space, just how it should be.

I like ikea, no question about it. It’s nice, cheap and you get a plate of meatballs for 5€ – what’s not to like? Oh yeah, there’s the assembly part where you try to use the one lousy tool that comes along in every package. Here’s a related pic.
