The great finnish drinking-orgy (or whatever you want to call it) Vappu is on friday. So I made a poster to promote happenings during the weekend organized by my schools student organizations.

It's simple, yet effective and has a groovy color!

Just got a mail that someone added me on twitter, so I looked at his profile wich had a link to his portfolio. Amazing work was I found, just loving Lauris simple and minimal and yet colorful illustrations. Seriously want the one with the recordplayer hanging on my wall! Check out his work!

This is awesome in so many ways, love.

A month from now my father will turn 50years and I would very much like to give him something unique and personal instead of some expensive bottle of whiskey or a 241nd tie. I was thinking of making a booklet with about 12 pages or so. The method is yet unclear but i  happen to have some really nice slightly bone colored 240g paper lying around that just might do the trick.

Anywho, I got inspired by this Lo-Fi silk screen printing i found over at For Print Only while searching for “dad“.

The fine work of two kids

We have an english course going on at school now and we got the assignment to make a poster/flyer to some event/thing/happening/whatever. I sat down and put on the Tindersticks Working for the Man record, opened illustrator, made a cup of tea and started sketching. Finally, I  came out with this idea for a seminar about reducing carbon dioxide, please note that this is a fictional event!

I like the overall look of the poster and love the colors
